Alarms Overview dashlet

Note: The Alarms Overview dashlet shows historical 24-hour summary period that updates hourly (complete hours).

Using this dashlet, total alarms created in the last 24 hours displays in a bar chart where you can see resolved versus active Alarms by severity, or alternative views grouped by Equipment or Created time. 

View as Small or Large by using Resize in the menu.

In small size, the Alarms Overview dashlet summarizes all alarms created in the last 24 hours and displays as a bar chart. There is also the option for users to change views using the top buttons:

• Alarm Name – top 15 alarm types by alarm name and showing Active and Resolved proportion 
• Equipment – for all alarms generated, see the noisiest equipment (up to 15)
• Created – New alarms created per hour for the 24 hour summary period in chart form by High Medium and Low severity
• Severity - Colour coded and rated from 0-10
  • High       = Red - 0,1 & 2
  • Medium = Amber - 3, 4 & 5
  • Low        = Blue - 6, 7, 8, 9 & 10

In large size, there is the addition of a detailed breakdown of alarms and equipment in a 24 Hour Summary panel below the chart. Click on the arrowhead to expand out the panel to view :

• Alarm Name – view alarm count and by status (active or resolved)
  • drill down to see count per equipment for the alarm name
• Equipment – view alarm count and by severity
  • drill down to see alarm name count for the equipment
